‘Songs from Deal and Beyond’ is a collection of 24 original and traditional folk songs pertaining to life in Deal and beyond, weaving a story through the changing periods of time. The songs in this book relate to Deal’s coal mining, hop picking, smuggling, fishing, merchant navy, Royal Navy and Marines and migration history.

The songs are fun, poignant, beautiful and easy to learn and are suitable for beginner or advanced singers and can easily be taught by ear (using the backing tracks and YouTube videos) or by using the musical scores.
